Boys updates

1 more week until school. Woohoo!!! Mom is very excited! And Colby and conner are ready to see some friends as well!

Conner started soccer camp this week and soccer practice last week. We love his new coach and he learned more in an hour than he's learned in whole seasons before. In fact, it's pouring rain today and the coach called to move practice because "I have so much to teach the boys and you cant teach in this rain, you just kick a ball." Soccer camp is 3 hrs and while he doesnt seem to be learning as much, it's wearing his butt out. He is very excited for school to start and to see his friends again, though he claims he isnt. He has Mrs. West, a teacher we know nothing about, but he does know a few kids in his class.

Colby saw the ped yesterday for on going tummy aches. It's been going on for over 2 months now. He's full of shit. That's what it seems to boil down to. We are glad it's not more as he has been pretty miserable on a daily basis, so let the clean out begin. He's on massive dose of bowel stimulant at this point and after we'll see how he is feeling. He also began occupational therapy last week to help him with his lack of balance and body awareness. *He* is very excited to be making this step as he is starting to notice his differences. Hopefully she will be able to help him be as graceful as his Mama ;)

Caden is just a stubborn 4yr old who isnt not looking forward to school starting to his brothers starting school. We are trying to figure out how to afford putting him in daycare here and there. He's really become a little boy as opposed to a toddler lately. I think he's going to have a tough time in 2 wks, but he'll get some good Mom/Papa time.

We are trying to avoid school shopping as much as possible. We have some wonderful neighbors who have graciously given us some clothes for Conner yet again. That boy has lived in nothing but hand me downs and I hope the day never comes that he notices ;). He is already in a size 12 (slim) and so we are buying 14. Can you believe it? Colby may not have the height but he's built like his papa, so he too is in a 10/12 in shirts and 8-10 pants. Luckily he has some hand me downs from Conner in shirts, but pants are another story and he will only wear elastic bands, so we're going to have to get some for him.... and after they've gone through first child, Conner, colby, we arent having so many hand me downs for caden who is wearing the same size this year as Colby was at the start of last year LOL. 5/6. Eesh he's a tall boy! They also all 3 need shoes. But could they wear the same sizing? No no. Conner is Regular to wide (4.5), Colby is Wide to XWide (2) and Caden is XXWide (12). Luckily I caught some good Caden sales so only 2 to buy for, but when you are having to buy W to XXW it gets spendy! Whatever happened to good ole payless?

I also figure that as soon as I finish school shopping, the much awaited growth spurts will happen :) They've all 3 been about the same size for quite awhile, though I swear Conner has grown lately even if the wall doesnt show it! Conner is now 58" and 80lbs, Colby is 48.5" and 78lbs, and Caden is 43" and 46lbs. I grow them big ladies and gentlemen, yes I do.

And there is the WAL update
